About the Baker
My name is Anya Emerson
I am a teen entrepreneur who found her love for baking after getting concussed in a soccer game. The only thing that didn't hurt was baking, so I did a lot of it! I started baking for friends and they told me "These are so good! You could totally sell these." So I did, and it all fell into place from there! I am now a licensed Cottage Food Operator who sells at local markets and a local coffee shop.
Ordering Policy
Because Bakes By Anya is run by a busy high school student, the bakery operates on pre-orders. We accept orders until 11:45 p.m. on Thursday each week, then bake all orders on Friday and Saturday. Customers pick up their tasty treats on Sunday between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Custom orders and custom pick up times are available upon request.
